A hard shot 18 in the game by Dennis Horton from a close distance when the talented Jordan Holland managed to make a qualified save. Wapello's players were relieved. Jordan Holland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordon Sanchez in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordan Holland saved Wapello from getting behind. Julian Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Landon Hood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordan Holland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Sanchez in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Landon Hood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pekin FC's zone, Landon Hood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Souza came out of the goal and Landon Hood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walton Kauffman hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marlin Tucker made a kick off. Gordon Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordan Holland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Gordon Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Holland having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Pekin FC's Gordon Sanchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordan Holland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gordon Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Holland having to interfere. Henry McIntyre's late challenge caught a Pekin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pekin FC's Kerry Gallagher couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wapello. Josh Rich kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pekin FC had played much better football throughout.
