After a defensive mix-up in Warson Woods AFC's zone, Raul McDermott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russell Rosa came out of the goal and Raul McDermott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Lefler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Russell Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Warson Woods AFC got a freekick which was hit by Billy Short. Raul McDermott was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Las Vegas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Russell Rosa was a little too slow when Carl Lefler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. Raul McDermott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Rosa having to interfere. 71 minutes in the game, Raul McDermott fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Russell Rosa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul McDermott in the 72nd minute of play forced Warson Woods AFC's goalkeeper Russell Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Elijah Sandoval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 82nd minute of the match, Carl Lefler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Russell Rosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Aaron McCloud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Raul McDermott dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Russell Rosa, 1-3. Carl Leflers short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Russell Rosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Raul McDermott got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Las Vegas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
