Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Crownsville AFC's Merrill Sherman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremiah Barney got free with Rory Pope in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 minutes McQueeney FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Merrill Sherman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Crownsville AFC's Merrill Sherman to fire away a dangerous shot which Rory Pope despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Alexis Walter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alexis Walter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rory Pope having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Crownsville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Webber came free, but Bo Beard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rory Pope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldo Rosales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Waldo Rosales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crownsville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldo Rosales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Webber kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Merrill Sherman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rory Pope quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rich Miner struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rory Pope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crownsville AFC. Bo Beard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Webber in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to McQueeney FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Roy Schumacher hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Jeremiah Barney dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rory Pope, 1-0. In the 34th minute, Merrill Sherman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Harry Webber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Beard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Waldo Rosales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rory Pope made a huge save. Rory Pope made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jeremiah Barney sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Harry Webber made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Alexis Walter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crownsville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McQueeney FC the free kick. In the 52nd minute of the match Warren Good shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bo Beard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bo Beard came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by McQueeney FC's Bronson Kellogg. But to his dismay, Bronson Kellogg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 58 played minutes Crownsville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Waldo Rosales. If Merrill Sherman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alexis Walter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crownsville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Walter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rory Pope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Merrill Sherman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, McQueeney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darnell Owens to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Waldo Rosales notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of McQueeney FC's Rory Pope. Rory Pope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Alexis Walter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crownsville AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 80 minutes into the match, McQueeney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Sherman came free, but Rory Pope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merrill Sherman in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rory Pope saved McQueeney FC from getting behind. The Crownsville AFC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Crownsville AFC's Merrill Sherman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Waldo Rosales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rory Pope was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Roy Schumacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merrill Sherman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rory Pope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Crownsville AFC were the better team. Crownsville AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
