Waldo Rosales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Robinson having to interfere. Milan Christian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bo Beard. Crownsville AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremiah Barney might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Terry Robinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremiah Barney ran back to his position shaking his head. Terry Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldo Rosales in the 18th minute of the match. When Paul Otto fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored United PL's protests and gave Paul Otto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Paul Otto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Forrest Bolton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Beard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Melton, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Waldo Rosales sped through United PL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Terry Robinson. 2-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Jeremiah Barney elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Waldo Rosales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Terry Robinson made a huge save. After 46 minutes, Jeremiah Barney made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. United PL's Terry Robinson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Bryan Christopher kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A hard shot by Cliff McGuire from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Bo Beard's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 56th minute Jeremiah Barney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanton Siegel hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Paul Otto threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 69thth minute of the game Merrill Sherman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but United PL's Terry Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Waldo Rosales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Terry Robinson was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Waldo Rosales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, United PL's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Sherman came free, but Terry Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Crownsville AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
