Aidan Segura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Garry George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, Wading River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Landon Lewis to maneuver through the defense. Garry George was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Monty Gale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Monty Gale really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aidan Segura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garry George having to interfere. Oliver Kane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Guilabertus having to interfere. Wading River's Garry George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aidan Segura in the 15th minute of play. When Aidan Segura came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Zion AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aidan Segura couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Frank Purvis put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Garry George. Garry George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aidan Segura in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Frank Purvis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Garry George was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joshua Prescott kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lloyd Bridges during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zion AFC's Lucien Cho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Garry George but with some difficulty. 41 minutes into the match, Frank Purvis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Garry George, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Zion AFC's Manu Ginola got a free kick in the 44th minute. Garry George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lane Morin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Lane Morin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Zion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Harrington came free, but Eustaquio Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Wading River defense, Frank Purvis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garry George. The Wading River fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garry George should have stopped the shot. If Aidan Segura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aidan Segura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garry George having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Joshua Prescott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 74th minute of the match Lloyd Bridges completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lloyd Bridges a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 75th minute, Lloyd Bridges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot Burton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garry George. Wading River's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wading River's zone, Monty Gale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garry George came out of the goal and Monty Gale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Evan Sams who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wading River's Garry George was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Zion AFC's Evan Sams made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garry George was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 96 played minutes Wading River got a freekick which was hit by Will Riker.
