Indiana FC's Billy Sparks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vance Williamson in the 16th minute of play. When Terrance Zavala came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Indiana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terrance Zavala couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Arlindo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Terrance Zavala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Indiana FC booed when Oceanside was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Delong didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ollie Vela came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Indiana FC fans jumped to their feet. A collision led to Indiana FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arlindo Furtado hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Indiana FC defense, Eusebio Courtney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Sparks. The Indiana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Sparks should have stopped the shot. Kirk Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrance Zavala in the 86th minute of the match. Billy Sparks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulysses Alford in the 88th minute. Alexander Vettori kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tod Denton charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tod Denton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Oceanside got a freekick which was hit by Tod Denton. There was no doubt that Indiana FC were the better team. Indiana FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
