In the 18th match minute, Indiana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bronson Hebert to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Indiana FC defense, Antonio Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Sparks. The Indiana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Sparks should have stopped the shot. If Tyrone Rankin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Indiana FC defense, Tyrone Rankin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Sparks. The Indiana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Sparks should have stopped the shot. Juan Henson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrance Zavala, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, one of Indiana FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Schofield FC. Marlin Winston stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Billy Sparks. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Indiana FC's zone, Tyrone Rankin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Sparks came out of the goal and Tyrone Rankin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Terrance Zavala made the kick off in the second half. Terrance Zavala charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terrance Zavala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Indiana FC's Terrance Zavala got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Antonio Young cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Billy Sparks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60thth minute of the game Terrance Zavala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schofield FC's Juan Henson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Billy Sparks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Young in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Tyrone Rankin rounded Indiana FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. The supporters of Schofield FC booed when Indiana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasey Driscoll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ollie Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Henson having to interfere. Indiana FC's Billy Sparks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Indiana FC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Tyrone Rankin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Young could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Billy Sparks made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Young got free with Billy Sparks in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
