Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bradenton's Alonso Friedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Bradenton from getting a goal against them. Alonso Friedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theron Shields in the 8th minute of the match. Phil Mott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Alonso Friedman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Dyer AFC defense, Timothy Sutherland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tyrell Barr. The Dyer AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyrell Barr should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd match minute, Dyer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyron Vera to maneuver through the defense. Phil Mott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alonso Friedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theron Shields's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonso Friedman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Phil Mott succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 39th playminute. Wes Burch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvatore Arrington charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvatore Arrington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Salvatore Arrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timothy Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Theron Shields received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alonso Friedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rueben Carlisle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dyer AFC's Phil Mott got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonso Friedman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theron Shields's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Phil Mott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Theron Shields came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Dyer AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theron Shields couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Derek Small hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonso Friedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Small, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Phil Mott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Friedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dyer AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
