Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmund Yoshioka took the kick off in the first half of the match. Club Atletico Spinetta's Kevin Cerna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Newell in the 7th minute of play. Robert Newell took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Cerna. Kevin Cerna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Spinetta's goal looked a bit too open when Jamel Ragland came free, but Kevin Cerna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Cerna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Newell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Spinetta's Florian Nieves got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Jamel Ragland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Cerna. Club Atletico Spinetta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jamel Ragland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Club Atletico Spinetta's Edmund Yoshioka in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Edmund Yoshioka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jerome Darnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Braidwood AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jamel Ragland hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Singh got free with Kevin Cerna in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 46 minutes, Florian Nieves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Spinetta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Nieves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Newell was the one to do the kick off. Florian Nieves kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With his leg Jerome Darnell managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Club Atletico Spinetta's Edmund Yoshioka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Florian Nieves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jerome Darnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Moody hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Victor Ziegler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Terrence Brandt helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Club Atletico Spinetta got a freekick which was hit by Terrence Brandt. After 72 played minutes, Braidwood AFC's Dave McLaughlin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevin Cerna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Braidwood AFC reached it. 75 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Spinetta's Terrell Colvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Darnell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Braidwood AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Newell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Allison in the 83rd minute of play forced Braidwood AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Darnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Atletico Spinetta fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Club Atletico Spinetta's Edmund Yoshioka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Edmund Yoshioka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Spinetta's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Yoshioka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerome Darnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Yoshioka in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerome Darnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes Club Atletico Spinetta got a freekick which was hit by Florian Nieves. Club Atletico Spinetta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
