After having played for 11 minutes, Jamel Ragland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braidwood AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamel Ragland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Maxwell Crusher got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Merlin Looney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 minutes, Dave McLaughlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braidwood AFC and the Madeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Braidwood AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dave McLaughlin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Braidwood AFC's Jerome Darnell got control of the ball when Maxwell Crusher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Newell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Terrell Harrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Clay Hawk hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Madeira's Bradley Randall got a free kick in the 28th minute. Terrell Harrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Newell in the 29th minute of the match. Terrell Harrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Newell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxwell Crusher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jerome Darnell made a huge save. Jerome Darnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Looney, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The wind increased when Merlin Looney made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Looney in the 52nd minute of play forced Braidwood AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Darnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Darnell didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Madeira's Maxwell Crusher shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 65 minutes into the match, Madeira's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Newell came free, but Terrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Newell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson McConnell in the 70th minute of play forced Braidwood AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Darnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Darnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxwell Crusher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Merlin Looney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braidwood AFC's Jerome Darnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kurt Singh who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Terrell Harrell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Robert Newell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Terrell Harrell. The goal made the score 2-1. Maxwell Crusher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jerome Darnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Singh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Braidwood AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Madeira.
