Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) When Abraham Lincoln fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falcon FC's protests and gave Abraham Lincoln a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of South San Gabriel booed when Falcon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Lincoln didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loren Patrick came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Falcon FC's Ernest Godfrey. But to his dismay, Ernest Godfrey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Rich Story hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stanford Leslie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrod Longoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Loren Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregory Madrid made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Stanford Leslie sent off a good shot on target. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rich Medrano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falcon FC's Gregory Madrid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Jarrod Longoria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loren Patrick. South San Gabriel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarrod Longoria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 26 minutes into the game, Shane Lowry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South San Gabriel the free kick. In the 35th minute, Allan Rosenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Godfrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Patrick having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Abraham Lincoln managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falcon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Lincoln was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loren Patrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russ Kirby during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Russ Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Jarrod Longoria made a precise shot to the right of Loren Patrick. South San Gabriel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After the first half Falcon FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rich Medrano made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ernest Godfrey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falcon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Godfrey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loren Patrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, South San Gabriel's goalkeeper Loren Patrick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrus Wise. Loren Patrick was a little too slow when Cyrus Wise got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 59th minute, Cyrus Wise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falcon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After having played for 64 minutes, Cyrus Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falcon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrus Wise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Falcon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Medrano came free, but Gregory Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loren Patrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrus Wise in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, South San Gabriel's goalkeeper Loren Patrick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Godfrey. If Jarrod Longoria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Loren Patrick managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Falcon FC's Ernest Godfrey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Russ Kirby got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 80 played minutes South San Gabriel got a freekick which was hit by Russ Kirby. The long shot by Jarrod Longoria in the 81st minute really tested Loren Patrick's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Falcon FC's Ernest Godfrey in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South San Gabriel's goalie prevented a goal. Loren Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Godfrey in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Godfrey in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loren Patrick saved South San Gabriel from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ernest Godfrey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loren Patrick was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Cyrus Wise came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Falcon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrus Wise couldn't finish the play. The South San Gabriel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Falcon FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
