Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Levi McDermott took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brendon LeBlanc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roscoe Walton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo David having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Karl Fleming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colin Hearn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Renaldo David made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, United States's goalkeeper Renaldo David had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Colin Hearn. After a rather tough play, Manhasset Hills's Denis Combs got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, United States's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon LeBlanc came free, but Renaldo David reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes United States got a freekick which was hit by Brett Arden. 20 minutes into the match, Manhasset Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Levi McDermott came free, but Nathaniel Faulk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levi McDermott struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nathaniel Faulk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United States. After 29 played minutes Manhasset Hills got a freekick which was hit by Colin Hearn. The supporters of United States booed when Manhasset Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Hearn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renaldo David showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon LeBlanc in the 33rd minute of the match. Colin Hearn hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Manhasset Hills booed when United States was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pearson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Brendon LeBlanc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manhasset Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon LeBlanc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in United States's zone, Brendon LeBlanc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo David came out of the goal and Brendon LeBlanc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, United States's Levi McDermott got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Brendon LeBlanc made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Manhasset Hills's Brendon LeBlanc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renaldo David made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 56 minutes into the match, Sherman Sosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nathaniel Faulk. Manhasset Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sherman Sosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Levi McDermott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. United States's Renaldo David played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon LeBlanc in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manhasset Hills's Colin Hearn got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Brendon LeBlanc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Renaldo David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Roscoe Walton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manhasset Hills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave United States the free kick. Roscoe Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ward Lilly kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Levi McDermott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute of the match, Sherman Sosa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nathaniel Faulk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Manhasset Hills's Roscoe Walton got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Levi McDermott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendon LeBlanc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roscoe Walton came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Manhasset Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roscoe Walton couldn't finish the play. Brendon LeBlanc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
