Lawton's Edmundo Rowan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver House in the 5th minute of play. Denver House received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Edmundo Rowan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Homer Lipscomb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Josh Witherspoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Josh Stapleton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Josh Witherspoon, passed just outside the right post. 18 minutes in the game, Josh Stapleton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Josh Witherspoon having to interfere. The supporters of Lawton booed when West Elmira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Norman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josh Stapleton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josh Witherspoon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes in the game, Josh Stapleton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Josh Witherspoon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Stapleton in the 24th minute of play forced West Elmira's goalkeeper Josh Witherspoon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denver House received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edmundo Rowan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Kent Manley notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lawton's Edmundo Rowan. Edmundo Rowan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Denver House's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Rowan was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Homer Lipscombs short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Josh Witherspoon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Josh Witherspoon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josh Stapleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josh Stapleton made a kick off. Homer Lipscomb charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Homer Lipscomb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Homer Lipscomb kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Josh Witherspoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Stapleton in the 55th minute of the match. Josh Stapleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Homer Lipscomb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lawton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 66th minute, Homer Lipscomb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josh Witherspoon came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Lawton's Josh Stapleton. But to his dismay, Josh Stapleton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Homer Lipscomb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Josh Witherspoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Homer Lipscomb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Witherspoon having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Josh Stapleton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josh Witherspoon was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Titus Sargent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Rowan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josh Witherspoon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Lipscomb, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Homer Lipscomb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lawton's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Lipscomb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josh Witherspoon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josh Stapleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denver House received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
