Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when John Slater kicked off to start the match. Afton's Sean Fish got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kory Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tyrese Prescott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes McHutio FC got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Negron. In the 15th match minute, Afton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Palacios to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Petersons short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Christian Lowery to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. John Slater took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tyrese Prescott. Tyrese Prescott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. John Slater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrese Prescott having to interfere. In the 28th minute Sean Fish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Lowery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, John Slater notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Afton's Tyrese Prescott. Tyrese Prescott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Slater might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrese Prescott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Slater ran back to his position shaking his head. Tyrese Prescott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Slater in the 35th minute of play. Kory Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kory Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrese Prescott having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Afton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Palacios to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute, Kory Morris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyrese Prescott was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sean Fish to make the kick off. The McHutio FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when McHutio FC's Dalton Dunbar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kory Morris's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tyrese Prescott firmly grabbed it by the left post. John Slater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Lowery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Fish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Giovanni Peterson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Kory Morris notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Afton's Tyrese Prescott. Tyrese Prescott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Afton's goal looked a bit too open when John Slater came free, but Tyrese Prescott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyrese Prescott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Slater in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Afton's Jon Palacios got a free kick in the 77th minute. When John Slater came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the McHutio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Slater couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Giovanni Peterson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Lowery was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 86th minute of the match, Kory Morris got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tyrese Prescott was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Forrest Winn kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When John Slater came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the McHutio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Slater couldn't finish the play. Tyrese Prescott was out of position in the 102 minute of play, and John Slater capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. John Slater really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. McHutio FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
