Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Love stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Connor Zavala's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rico Rowland during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Socastee FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Rowland to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collin Jorgensen in the 18th minute of play forced Patchogue FC's goalkeeper Juan Love to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Zavala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Connor Zavala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23rd play minutes Collin Jorgensen shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Juan Love and just under the crossbar into goal. Patchogue FC's Juan Love played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Zavala in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Collin Jorgensen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Love was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Connor Zavala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socastee FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor Zavala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Love breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Patchogue FC booed when Socastee FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abe Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Laurence Thornton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Socastee FC's Abe Holt got a free kick in the 37th minute. Laurence Thornton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Javier Loomis made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Rico Rowland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patchogue FC's Dallas Harper got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Socastee FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patchogue FC:s goal. After the first half Socastee FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dallas Harper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dallas Harper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Javier Loomis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Ezra Shepherd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patchogue FC and the Socastee FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Patchogue FC's Ezra Shepherd got a free kick in the 84th minute. Connor Zavala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Love having to interfere. Collin Jorgensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dallas Harper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 102nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Socastee FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
