Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. C.J. Velez started the match with the kick off. Gordon Underwood didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rob Prather went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 6th minute Lane Irwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Underwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lane Irwin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Underwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elliott Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from C.J. Velez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rob Prather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stoke City's Elliott Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by C.J. Velez in the 14th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Mario Meza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eldersburg AFC's Gordon Underwood was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eldersburg AFC's zone, Daniel Shaver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Underwood came out of the goal and Daniel Shaver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordon Underwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Shaver in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Eldersburg AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Evan Sadler hit a great ball. Mario Meza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gordon Underwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Peralta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but C.J. Velez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Shaver in the 36th minute of play forced Eldersburg AFC's goalkeeper Gordon Underwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Shaver struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gordon Underwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoke City. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Meza in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gordon Underwood saved Eldersburg AFC from getting behind. Stoke City's Mario Meza got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Eldersburg AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by C.J. Velez to maneuver through the defense. Jerome Herman's late challenge caught a Eldersburg AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerome Herman helped the player get up and apologised. Jerome Herman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Eldersburg AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Shaver 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 65th minute, Rob Prather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Daniel Shaver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Shaver in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gordon Underwood, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gordon Underwood made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Francesco Dickens sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Shaver in the 82nd minute of play forced Eldersburg AFC's goalkeeper Gordon Underwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stoke City's Daniel Shaver in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eldersburg AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the game, Francesco Dickens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gordon Underwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stoke City made a substitution. Basilio Balendin replaced Rob Prather. Gordon Underwood stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Shaver's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Stoke City played a much better game than Eldersburg AFC and deserved their victory. The Eldersburg AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
