A hard shot 11 in the game by Craig Hamlin from a close distance when the talented Devon Reyes managed to make a qualified save. Columbus Grove's players were relieved. After 11 played minutes Columbus Grove got a freekick which was hit by Enrique McNeil. Buckley Forest's Bradly Tabor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Devon Reyes but with some difficulty. A collision led to Columbus Grove getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Francesco Woodall hit a great ball. Eddie Hunter got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 18th match minute before Devon Reyes had time to react. When Enrique McNeil fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Columbus Grove's protests and gave Enrique McNeil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Columbus Grove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique McNeil to maneuver through the defense. Enrique McNeil scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aidan Wong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aidan Wong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Cormier, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Eddie Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devon Reyes having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play Columbus Grove's Enrique McNeil was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Enrique McNeil hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Columbus Grove's Francesco Woodall got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Columbus Grove's Devon Reyes got control of the ball when Eddie Hunter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Craig Hamlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devon Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merrill Chambers was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Craig Hamlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buckley Forest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Craig Hamlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Devon Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Hamlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Craig Hamlin sped through Columbus Grove's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Devon Reyes. Craig Hamlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Devon Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Craig Hamlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devon Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garth Cormier during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Columbus Grove getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Garth Cormier hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Bradly Tabor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Devon Reyes skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Craig Hamlin in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Devon Reyes saved Columbus Grove from getting behind. Buckley Forest's Eddie Hunter got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Craig Hamlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devon Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Columbus Grove's Devon Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Hunter in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Merrill Chambers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Eddie Hunter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Devon Reyes was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Devon Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Hunter in the 83rd minute of play. Devon Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Hunter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devon Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Hamlin in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Craig Hamlin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devon Reyes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Buckley Forest players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
