Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Del Dolan kicked off to start the match. Henry Weston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Ben Cao Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Fork's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Cao Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Cao Xiao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Del Dolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Henley having to interfere. The supporters of American Fork booed when Englewood Cliffs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stacey Ward didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Carl Parra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orville Henley skillfully saved the ball. If Stacey Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Sharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Landrum, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Del Dolan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orville Henley was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Stanton Minor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Peter Sharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Englewood Cliffs's goal looked a bit too open when Del Dolan came free, but Orville Henley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Mitchell Landrum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Englewood Cliffs and the American Fork players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Mitchell Landrum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Ben Cao Xiao made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Englewood Cliffs's Orville Henley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julian Horton charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Horton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Weston got free with Peter Sharp in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Englewood Cliffs's goal looked a bit too open when Del Dolan came free, but Orville Henley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ben Cao Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ben Cao Xiao came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the American Fork fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Cao Xiao couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Stanton Minor made the kick off in the second half. Stacey Ward hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Stanton Minor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Weston struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Peter Sharp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Englewood Cliffs. 66 minutes into the match, American Fork's goal looked a bit too open when Stanton Minor came free, but Peter Sharp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stanton Minor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanton Minor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Peter Sharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Sharp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Weston went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the American Fork defense, Stanton Minor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Sharp. The American Fork fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Sharp should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Del Dolan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Orville Henley, passed just outside the right post. Henry Weston scored 3-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Sharp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
