Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lorenzo Humphrey made the kick off which started today's match. Eddie Talbot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Humphrey went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Justin Huang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eddie Talbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Woodrow MacKenzie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Whaley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Commack booed when Waynesburg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Commack's Leon Whaley got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Humphrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Talbot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Humphrey's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Eddie Talbot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Huang, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Justin Huang notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Commack's Eddie Talbot. Eddie Talbot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute, Justin Huang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Waynesburg AFC's zone, Brendan Whitmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woodrow MacKenzie came out of the goal and Brendan Whitmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Talbot came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Waynesburg AFC's Lorenzo Humphrey. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Humphrey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 41 minutes, Justin Huang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waynesburg AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justin Huang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justin Huang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Commack players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Waynesburg AFC were winning 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Whaley to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Waynesburg AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Whaley came free, but Woodrow MacKenzie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Huang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eddie Talbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justin Huang got free with Eddie Talbot in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Waynesburg AFC's Theodore McMahon got a free kick in the 60th minute. Leon Whaley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Brendan Whitmore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waynesburg AFC's Woodrow MacKenzie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Commack's zone, Justin Huang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Talbot came out of the goal and Justin Huang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Waynesburg AFC's Justin Huang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Talbot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Waynesburg AFC booed when Commack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monty Land didn't get a good kick on the ball. Woodrow MacKenzie came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Commack's Leon Whaley. But to his dismay, Leon Whaley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Brendan Whitmore struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Woodrow MacKenzie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Commack. Brendan Whitmore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Woodrow MacKenzie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Whaley scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Woodrow MacKenzie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Whitmore in the 96th minute of play forced Waynesburg AFC's goalkeeper Woodrow MacKenzie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Commack supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Waynesburg AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Waynesburg AFC.
