After having played for 4 minutes, Bryant Cho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McLoud FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryant Cho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Lloyd Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Curtis Reilly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northglenn AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McLoud FC the free kick. A collision led to Northglenn AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Curtis Reilly hit a great ball. McLoud FC's Wiley Thurman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save McLoud FC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Sinclair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiley Thurman having to interfere. A collision led to McLoud FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rodrigo Osborne hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in McLoud FC's zone, Grant Schultz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiley Thurman came out of the goal and Grant Schultz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Grant Schultz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grant Schultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiley Thurman having to interfere. Ty Uster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryant Cho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Sinclair to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Humphries got free with Ty Uster in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute Ricardo Sinclair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiley Thurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Schultz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grant Schultz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grant Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ty Uster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremy Humphries in the 68th minute. Bryant Cho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ty Uster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy Humphries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Uster having to interfere. Ty Uster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Cho in the 78th minute of play. When Northglenn AFC's Grant Schultz in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye McLoud FC's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Northglenn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bryant Cho came free, but Ty Uster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ty Uster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryant Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Northglenn AFC's Ty Uster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryant Cho in the 93rd minute of play. Grant Schultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiley Thurman having to interfere. The McLoud FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing McLoud FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
