Michael Davison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Flynn's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Heriberto Mayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mitch Ott was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Michael Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Flynn in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match, Blair Flynn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Davison saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boca Juniors LA's Blair Flynn got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Blair Flynn lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Michael Davison. After 26th play minutes Josiah Barker shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Michael Davison and just under the crossbar into goal. Josiah Barker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Michael Davison made a huge save. The supporters of Boca Juniors LA booed when Last Boys Scouts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Arnold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitch Ott came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Last Boys Scouts FC's Moses Arredondo. But to his dismay, Moses Arredondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eliseo Aquino kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, Last Boys Scouts FC's Rafael Marquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mitch Ott came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Last Boys Scouts FC reached it. Last Boys Scouts FC's Michael Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Flynn in the 38th minute of play. Michael Davison made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Josiah Barker sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st match minute, Last Boys Scouts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merle Baggett to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Josiah Barker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors LA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josiah Barker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moses Arredondo was the one to do the kick off. Blair Flynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Flynn might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Davison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blair Flynn ran back to his position shaking his head. Josiah Barker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Davison having to interfere. Blair Flynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Flynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Aquino kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Moses Arredondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Blair Flynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josiah Barker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Davison having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors LA's Josiah Barker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Davison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michael Davison came out of the goal and Blair Flynn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phillip Arnold hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Michael Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Flynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Josiah Barker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josiah Barker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Davison having to interfere. There was no doubt that Boca Juniors LA were the better team. Boca Juniors LA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
