Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Byron Diggs started the match with the kick off. Johnathan McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manhattan FC's Jayson Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Uster in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Johnathan McCracken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Montoursville's Ricky Person got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Manhattan FC's zone, Johnathan McCracken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayson Ryan came out of the goal and Johnathan McCracken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Manhattan FC's Jayson Ryan got control of the ball when Johnathan McCracken tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bob Valdez's late challenge caught a Montoursville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bob Valdez helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Manhattan FC got a freekick which was hit by Bob Valdez. Johnathan McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jayson Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Uster in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Manhattan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchell Uster came free, but Jayson Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Mitchell Uster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jayson Ryan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johnathan McCracken might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jayson Ryan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnathan McCracken ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 minutes, Cesar Putnam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manhattan FC and the Montoursville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Manhattan FC's zone, Mitchell Uster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayson Ryan came out of the goal and Mitchell Uster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mitchell Uster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Ryan having to interfere.

Jayson Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan McCracken, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Montoursville were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Manhattan FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Truman Terry took the corner. Montoursville's Truman Terry was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jayson Ryan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th minute, Mitchell Uster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jayson Ryan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 62nd minute Johnathan McCracken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jayson Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchell Uster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Ryan having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play Manhattan FC's Bob Valdez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 68 played minutes Manhattan FC got a freekick which was hit by Bob Valdez. Johnathan McCracken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricky Person sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manhattan FC's Kris Bledsoe got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Putnam got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 82nd minute, Cesar Putnam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ace Brown received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jayson Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Johnathan McCracken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jayson Ryan was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Ricky Person had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Montoursville booed when Manhattan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eli Oakley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
