A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Ramon Albert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rochester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montoursville the free kick. Mitchell Uster received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Von Pruitt came out and tried to block the shot, but Mitchell Uster slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. Von Pruitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Uster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Von Pruitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Uster, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Johnathan McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rochester's goalkeeper Von Pruitt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johnathan McCracken was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 36 minutes into the match, Rochester's goalkeeper Von Pruitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnathan McCracken. Von Pruitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Uster, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Johnathan McCracken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Von Pruitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Montoursville's Mitchell Uster got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitchell Uster was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ace Brown in the 53rd minute of play forced Rochester's goalkeeper Von Pruitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Johnathan McCracken sped through Rochester's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Von Pruitt. The supporters of Montoursville booed when Rochester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Albert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Johnathan McCracken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Mitchell Uster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Von Pruitt. After some careless play in the Rochester defense, Ricky Person kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Von Pruitt. The Rochester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Von Pruitt should have stopped the shot. Johnathan McCracken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Von Pruitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnathan McCracken scored 7-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Von Pruitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Anthony Jefferson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saul Tabor. The goal made the score 7-1. Von Pruitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan McCracken, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Mitchell Uster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Montoursville fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Montoursville's Johnathan McCracken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Montoursville's Mitchell Uster in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rochester's goalie prevented a goal.
