Ari Ring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Smith came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by South Venice's Jonas Rhodes. But to his dismay, Jonas Rhodes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonas Rhodes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Arnoldo Smith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Venice. In the 15th match minute, Nacional United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Worley to maneuver through the defense. Hunter Pierre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Young Atkinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Colin Stroh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in South Venice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nacional United a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bryant Cutler, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of South Venice's Hunter Pierre. 1-1. Alonzo Beatty charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Beatty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Alonzo Beatty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hunter Pierre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Young Atkinson in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Rhodes was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, South Venice's Hunter Pierre got control of the ball when Young Atkinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, South Venice's Alonzo Beatty got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Young Atkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Young Atkinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hunter Pierre made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Rhodes in the 60th minute of play forced Nacional United's goalkeeper Arnoldo Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Hurley kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Beatty in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Smith saved Nacional United from getting behind. Nicky Gilliam charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicky Gilliam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes South Venice got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Gilliam. South Venice's Alonzo Beatty got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
