Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Denny Harden started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bryan Madrid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Hopson having to interfere. Matthew Hopson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Agoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ryan McConnell hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Denny Harden struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jamal Friedman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Valley. Matthew Hopson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Agoos in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Daryl Agoos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Valley's Matthew Hopson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Daryl Agoos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Hopson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Denny Harden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamal Friedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamal Friedman came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Valley's Denny Harden. But to his dismay, Denny Harden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 41st minute, Virgil Horner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daryl Agoos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Matthew Hopson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Bryan Madrid put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Matthew Hopson. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Valley's goalkeeper Matthew Hopson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthew Hopson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Madrid in the 62nd minute. Daryl Agoos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Hopson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Jamal Friedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Henderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Minnehaha getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wilfredo Stern hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Golden Valley's goal looked a bit too open when Daryl Agoos came free, but Matthew Hopson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Daryl Agoos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minnehaha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daryl Agoos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denny Harden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jamal Friedman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Golden Valley got a freekick which was hit by Mckinley Bagley. Jamal Friedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Horner in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
