Perry Pickens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rex Davison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Frankie Nolan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Perry Pickens. Frankie Nolan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Rex Davison dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Perry Pickens, 3-0. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Hinrich Schlegel scored to the left of an out of position Perry Pickens, making the score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Kayenta AFC's Nathaniel Wilkerson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Brendon Gayle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Martinez in the 30th minute of play. Perry Pickens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rex Davison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Kayenta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Bucuță to maneuver through the defense. Hinrich Schlegel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Perry Pickens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovanni Hooks made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kayenta AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Gayle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Rex Davison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Peapack and Gladstone AFC defense, Hinrich Schlegel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perry Pickens. The Peapack and Gladstone AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perry Pickens should have stopped the shot. Damien Blair charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damien Blair the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brendon Gayle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Hooks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kayenta AFC's Rex Davison in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peapack and Gladstone AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Hooks in the 73rd minute of play forced Kayenta AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Gayle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hinrich Schlegel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Pickens having to interfere. Hinrich Schlegel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hinrich Schlegel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Kayenta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hinrich Schlegel couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Rex Davison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayenta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rex Davison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kayenta AFC's Nathaniel Wilkerson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Peapack and Gladstone AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Davison in the 95th minute of play forced Peapack and Gladstone AFC's goalkeeper Perry Pickens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Kayenta AFC were the better team. Kayenta AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
