Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Giovanni Hooks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Perry Pickens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hinrich Schlegel's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Peapack and Gladstone AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Nolan came free, but Perry Pickens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hinrich Schlegel struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Perry Pickens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kayenta AFC. In the 13th minute of the match Emil Bucuță sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perry Pickens skillfully saved the ball. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Perry Pickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rex Davison in the 15th minute of play. Hinrich Schlegel charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hinrich Schlegel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kayenta AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hinrich Schlegel hit a great ball. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Perry Pickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hinrich Schlegel in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Hinrich Schlegel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Perry Pickens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Wilkerson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kayenta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peapack and Gladstone AFC the free kick. Nathaniel Wilkerson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Tory Barr kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Brendon Gayle made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Eli Hendrickson sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute of the match Emil Bucuță sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perry Pickens skillfully saved the ball. Perry Pickens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hinrich Schlegel in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Hinrich Schlegel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perry Pickens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Rex Davison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Perry Pickens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rex Davison to make the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Hinrich Schlegel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hinrich Schlegel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 52nd match minute, Kayenta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hinrich Schlegel to maneuver through the defense. Perry Pickens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Davison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Roman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rex Davison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Pickens having to interfere. Hugh William took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendon Gayle. Brendon Gayle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Perry Pickens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Davison in the 66th minute of play. Perry Pickens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rex Davison in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Kayenta AFC's Rex Davison dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Perry Pickens was a little too slow when Rex Davison got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. Rex Davison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Frankie Nolan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perry Pickens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Davison, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Nathaniel Wilkerson might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perry Pickens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nathaniel Wilkerson ran back to his position shaking his head. Rex Davison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perry Pickens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rex Davison in the 94th minute of the match. The Peapack and Gladstone AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kayenta AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
