Wilbur Herndon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Moises DeJesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Rodney Thurston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Atlanta FC and the Nahant AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nahant AFC booed when North Atlanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodney Thurston didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nahant AFC's Laurence Horner in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wilbur Herndon struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Moises DeJesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Atlanta FC. In the 33rd minute Laurence Horner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanh Bustamante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nahant AFC's Darren Stuart got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Blaine Hawk notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Nahant AFC's Moises DeJesus. Moises DeJesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Matos during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Nahant AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Matos. North Atlanta FC's Blaine Hawk got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises DeJesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Herndon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Nahant AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbur Herndon came free, but Moises DeJesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilbur Herndon scored 6-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises DeJesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blaine Hawk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nahant AFC's Moises DeJesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilbur Herndon in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. North Atlanta FC fully deserved thier win.
