Berwick AFC's Darin Roberts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Alvarez in the 13th minute of play. Rufus Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Lusk in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jasper Kyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berwick AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Kyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rufus Patten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Jasper Kyle lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Rufus Patten. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Kyle got free with Rufus Patten in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jasper Kyle struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rufus Patten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berwick AFC. Rufus Patten was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Lusk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play.
