Moline's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamel Leon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Greenwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zackary Dodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moline's Jamel Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donald Cerna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mohammad Palmer. Moline's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 19 in the game by Zackary Dodson from a close distance when the talented Alistair Greenwood managed to make a qualified save. RIVERSIDE F.C.'s players were relieved. Mohammad Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Fulton in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Don Cahill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mohammad Palmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, RIVERSIDE F.C.'s Don Cahill got a free kick in the 35th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Don Cahill was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldo Fulton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Palmer having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, RIVERSIDE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zackary Dodson came free, but Alistair Greenwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brett Shapiro during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Moline getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Richie Hooks hit a great ball. Moline's Mohammad Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cahill in the 65th minute of play. Moline's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Don Cahill 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. The Moline fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Moline's Jamel Leon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Brett Shapiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trevor Layton during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RIVERSIDE F.C. booed when Moline was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trevor Layton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zackary Dodson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alistair Greenwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moline. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIVERSIDE F.C.'s goalkeeper Alistair Greenwood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alistair Greenwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamel Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Moline had won after a very even match.
