The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolland Stearns got free with Bart Smalls in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Eusebio Davila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wyatt McCormick. Century Village's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Davila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 27 minutes, Rolland Stearns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Century Village's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolland Stearns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timmy Dickinson got free with Bart Smalls in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the game, Eusebio Davila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Wyatt McCormick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Aizawl Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Aizawl Football Club's Eusebio Davila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Roberto Casey sped through Century Village's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wyatt McCormick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Domingo Zapata made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Casey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Wyatt McCormick made a huge save. With his leg Wyatt McCormick managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Aizawl Football Club's Dana McGrath fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute of the match, Eusebio Davila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wyatt McCormick saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 60 in the game by Roberto Casey from a close distance when the talented Wyatt McCormick managed to make a qualified save. Century Village's players were relieved. Wyatt McCormick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Davila in the 67th minute of the match. Stewart Diggs hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Century Village's Wyatt McCormick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Century Village from getting a goal against them. Domingo Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Smalls having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Morgan Daniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Century Village fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After having played for 85 minutes, Roberto Casey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aizawl Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Casey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Wyatt McCormick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Century Village's Wyatt McCormick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Century Village from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Century Village booed when Aizawl Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Perdue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Smalls took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
