Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Nesbitt started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Kevin Farr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rick Mackey. Eddystone FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Farr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Emilio Candido took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rick Mackey. Rick Mackey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 12th minute, Kevin Farr made a precise shot to the right of Rick Mackey. Eddystone FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Emilio Candido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rick Mackey having to make a save. After having played for 19 minutes, Fernando Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eddystone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Farr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Morris having to interfere. Mario Nesbitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pedro Morris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Pedro Morris managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Eddystone FC's Fernando Bautista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Hera Browncoats FC's Pedro Morris got control of the ball when Fernando Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eddystone FC's Rick Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Shipp in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Hera Browncoats FC's Kevin Farr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rick Mackey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The supporters of Eddystone FC booed when Hera Browncoats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Candido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Nesbitt struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Pedro Morris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eddystone FC. Fernando Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Morris having to interfere. Rick Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Farr in the 72nd minute of play. Kevin Farr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Eddystone FC's zone, Kevin Farr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Mackey came out of the goal and Kevin Farr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Farr in the 83rd minute of play forced Eddystone FC's goalkeeper Rick Mackey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddystone FC's Fernando Bautista got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Hera Browncoats FC defense, Fernando Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Morris. The Hera Browncoats FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Morris should have stopped the shot. The Eddystone FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hera Browncoats FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hera Browncoats FC.
