The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Hera Browncoats FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Carl Proctor hit a great ball. Hera Browncoats FC's Reuben Hong shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Johnson Malone but with some difficulty. Alfred Estes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Hera Browncoats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Youngblood came free, but Pedro Morris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Candido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Malone having to interfere. Kevin Farr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute, Tracy Bennett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Dominic Shipp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnson Malone. Red Blood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Shipp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Farr in the 33rd minute of play forced Red Blood's goalkeeper Johnson Malone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Red Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Bennett to maneuver through the defense. Johnson Malone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Farr in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Kevin Farr made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Kevin Farr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Blood's Johnson Malone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Red Blood's zone, Kevin Farr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnson Malone came out of the goal and Kevin Farr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Dominic Shipp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnson Malone. Hera Browncoats FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Shipp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Youngblood got free with Pedro Morris in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Red Blood's Pedro Morris threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barry McCoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Dominic Shipp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hera Browncoats FC fully deserved thier win.
