In the 30th of the match, Lauro Guimarães tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Everett Otto got in the way and made a wonderful save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Spears to make the kick off. Everett Otto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match Marotto Futebol Clube got a corner. Linton FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Atom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marotto Futebol Clube's Adrian Silviano got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linton FC's goalkeeper Everett Otto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Marotto Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Spears came free, but Rudolph Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Atom couldn't finish the play. Oliver Atom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Everett Otto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Hudson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Marotto Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
