If Jorge Hamm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Jorge Hamm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Farris. Grants's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Hamm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Greg Farris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milo Fair, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jorge Hamm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Farris having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milo Fair made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chad Mejia in the 65th minute of play forced Mims's goalkeeper Roger Darling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerry Bledsoe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Darling having to interfere. Tory Myles kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Jorge Hamm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Farris. Greg Farris came out of the goal and Milo Fair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mims's Philip Bliss got a free kick in the 98th minute. Mims's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
