The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Cristobal Mansfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nathaniel Godwin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gregg Casey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Weaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Crane having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Gregg Casey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Al Crane, 3-2. 32 minutes into the game, one of demarkus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Mangoala a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Avery Story, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of demarkus's Nathaniel Godwin. 3-3. Al Crane made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Todd Weaver sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Will Brooks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangoala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave demarkus the free kick. Tobias Ham made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Billy Daugherty immediately put the ball in play. Al Crane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Norman in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Todd Weaver made the kick off in the second half. Nathaniel Godwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Houston, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Cristobal Mansfield fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Todd Weaver managed to get in a good position for a shot. demarkus's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Weaver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Crane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nathaniel Godwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Mansfield in the 60th minute of play. Martin Norman struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Al Crane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for demarkus. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Cristobal Mansfield took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Nathaniel Godwin to make any attempt to save it. demarkus's Martin Norman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Todd Weaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Al Crane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Norman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Crane having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Mangoala's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Weaver came free, but Al Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Crane came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by demarkus's Martin Norman. But to his dismay, Martin Norman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Todd Weaver struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Al Crane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for demarkus. In the 95th minute, Martin Norman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
