Christian Poirier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bryan Roth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Ukiah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Ryder to maneuver through the defense. If Sung Browning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaine Cagle charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blaine Cagle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Blaine Cagle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nick Cisneros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kory Shipp came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ukiah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kory Shipp couldn't finish the play. If Nick Cisneros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sung Browning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nick Cisneros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Pierre having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Laurel Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Cisneros came free, but Jesse Pierre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesse Pierre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nick Cisneros went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bryan Roth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sung Browning in the 38th minute. In the 45th minute Nick Cisneros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Pierre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Christian Poirier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Poirier to make the kick off. Christian Poirier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Roth having to interfere. In the 69th minute Sung Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Roth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sung Browning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Ukiah's Nick Cisneros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesse Pierre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Dean Gilbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ukiah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laurel Bay the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Ukiah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Gilbert to maneuver through the defense. When Justin Hutchinson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laurel Bay's protests and gave Justin Hutchinson a yellow card for diving instead. Justin Hutchinson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jesse Pierre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kory Shipp in the 77th minute. After 77 minutes, Oswaldo Moss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laurel Bay and the Ukiah players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Nick Cisneros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kory Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute.
