Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dario Estrada made the kick off and thus started the match. Cory Godwin scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franklin Goodwin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Severino Jaen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Franklin Goodwin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 minutes, Cory Godwin made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Winterset's Franklin Goodwin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Casey Ivey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin Goodwin having to make a save. After 22 minutes of play, Mojave's Casey Ivey made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franklin Goodwin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cory Godwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mojave's supporters rose to their feet, but Cory Godwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Goodwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Goodwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Jaen in the 32nd minute of the match. Casey Ivey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Franklin Goodwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winterset's Dario Estrada got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Severino Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Goodwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casey Ivey to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Neff hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Mojave's Teddy Ruff in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Franklin Goodwin came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mojave's Casey Ivey. But to his dismay, Casey Ivey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Severino Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mojave's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Goodwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Estrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Mojave's Casey Ivey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Franklin Goodwin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casey Ivey in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Winterset's Zane Whitley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desmond Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mojave's Severino Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mojave's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
