Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elijah Mays took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Elm Grove FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Bill Acuna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joey Harrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Rouse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joey Harrell in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute, Jerry Witt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Darryl Gifford notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Elm Grove FC's Anthony Kilgore. Anthony Kilgore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Elm Grove FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Kelley came free, but Anthony Kilgore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elm Grove FC's Joey Harrell got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Buffalo Grove FC's Elijah Mays sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthony Kilgore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bill Acuna fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elm Grove FC's protests and gave Bill Acuna a yellow card for diving instead. Jake Kelley struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Anthony Kilgore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buffalo Grove FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Kelley in the 37th minute of play forced Elm Grove FC's goalkeeper Anthony Kilgore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elijah Mays fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Kilgore having to interfere. Buffalo Grove FC's Jake Kelley got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnold Silver was the one to do the kick off. Jed Ezell kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Anthony Kilgore made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Elijah Mays sent off a good shot on target. Jake Kelley charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jake Kelley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jake Kelley hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Elijah Mays in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anthony Kilgore, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arnold Silver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Rouse having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Buffalo Grove FC's zone, Bill Acuna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Rouse came out of the goal and Bill Acuna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Jake Kelley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anthony Kilgore, 0-3. Elijah Mays succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 80th playminute. After 84 played minutes Elm Grove FC got a freekick which was hit by Joey Harrell. Jake Kelley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anthony Kilgore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Elijah Mays made a precise shot to the right of Anthony Kilgore. Elm Grove FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. A collision led to Elm Grove FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Joey Harrell hit a great ball. The Elm Grove FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buffalo Grove FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
