Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Quintin Romero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Missouri City FC's Willis Keane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Mercado in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Carson McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Carson McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willis Keane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Pierre Stroud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carson Sumner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Willis Keane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew Mercado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Missouri City FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Jacobson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Merritt in the 22nd minute of play forced Missouri City FC's goalkeeper Willis Keane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quintin Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carson Sumner made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Pierre Stroud sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Union booed when Missouri City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theron Ruth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Missouri City FC's Willis Keane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Mercado in the 30th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Silas Moseley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Stroud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Sumner having to interfere. Pierre Stroud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Drew Mercado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Pierre Stroud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Merritt spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Missouri City FC's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintin Romero in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carson Sumner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Cesar Jacobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Missouri City FC's goalkeeper Willis Keane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Drew Mercado. Carson Sumner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre Stroud's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Missouri City FC's Willis Keane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Missouri City FC from getting a goal against them. Willis Keane made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Elliot Merritt sent off a good shot on target. Drew Mercado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Willis Keane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre Stroud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carson Sumner having to make a save. Carson Sumner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Stroud, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 minutes, Boyce Cox mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Missouri City FC and the Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Missouri City FC's goalkeeper Willis Keane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Missouri City FC's Cesar Jacobson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carson Sumner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Drew Mercado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Willis Keane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Missouri City FC had won after a very even match.
