Spectators: 6230 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1230, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Archie Sutherland started the match with the kick off. Tim Craft charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Craft the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Concord FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Craft. 7 minutes into the match, Warner Pritchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael Caudill. Concord FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Warner Pritchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alfredo Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Carrier, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Archie Sutherland took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Gomes. Alfredo Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Warner Pritchard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Caudill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Raphael Caudill came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Carolina Storm's Bernát Markos. But to his dismay, Bernát Markos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Theo Carrier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Gomes having to interfere. Alfredo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Sutherland in the 26th minute of the match. Diego Dominguez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Gomes. Carolina Storm's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernát Markos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Warner Pritchard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carolina Storm's Bernát Markos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raphael Caudill. That made the score 3-1 after 38 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the match, Carolina Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Carrier came free, but Alfredo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The audience was convinced that Warner Pritchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Caudill was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Warner Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Caudill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warner Pritchard in the 93rd minute of the match. Warner Pritchard might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Caudill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Warner Pritchard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute Archie Sutherland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Carolina Storm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
