Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodney Ray took the kick off in the first half of the match. Loveland's Santo Nickerson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Loveland from getting a goal against them. Santo Nickerson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Leif Finn sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Johnson City AFC's Rudolph Valenzuela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Nickerson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Merrill hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Leif Finn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Santo Nickerson made a huge save. After having played for 24 minutes, Leif Finn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Johnson City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Finn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Nickerson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Valenzuela in the 26th minute of play. Leif Finn did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Santo Nickerson 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilbert Coffey in the 32nd minute of play forced Johnson City AFC's goalkeeper Clay Wooten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodney Ray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loveland's Santo Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolph Valenzuela in the 40th minute of play. Mickey Woods kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Loveland's Rodney Ray in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Johnson City AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Loveland's Shane Beach got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Octavio Weldon, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Santo Nickerson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Finn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kris Triplett charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kris Triplett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Loveland booed when Johnson City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Triplett didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Rodney Ray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clay Wooten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winford Galvan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santo Nickerson. Loveland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Leif Finn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rudolph Valenzuela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johnson City AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolph Valenzuela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Nickerson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Merrill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Nickerson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Finn went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Shane Beach hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Johnson City AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
