Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Terence Newton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerold Timmons having to interfere. Garrett Varner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Quentin Pratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Dawson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Darren Waller came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hominy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Waller couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Darren Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hominy's supporters rose to their feet, but Darren Waller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Pratt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Whitehouse booed when Hominy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitchell Payne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monty McClain kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Sal Rankin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerold Timmons. Hominy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Garrett Varner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kory Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitehouse's supporters rose to their feet, but Kory Bustamante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerold Timmons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes, Hominy's Pat Eaton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Quentin Pratt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hominy reached it.

After a defensive mix-up in Hominy's zone, Terence Newton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerold Timmons came out of the goal and Terence Newton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulysses Delaney hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Dodson during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pat Eaton shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play, Whitehouse's Terence Newton made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerold Timmons was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Terence Newton got free with Jerold Timmons in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Hominy getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Monty McClain hit a great ball. Ulysses Delaney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kory Bustamante might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerold Timmons. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kory Bustamante ran back to his position shaking his head. Terence Newton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerold Timmons firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Whitehouse eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
