Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Cameron got the match started through his kick off. If Daniel Cameron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cameron in the 7th minute of play forced Huntingburg's goalkeeper Van Hare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariah Painter charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachariah Painter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zachariah Painter hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Orville Hinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huntingburg's goalkeeper Van Hare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Cameron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Van Hare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Darrell Pham kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Van Hare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cameron in the 35th minute of the match. When Vito Crow came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Huntingburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Crow couldn't finish the play. Daniel Cameron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orville Hinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Van Hare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute Vito Crow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Doud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Donny Villarreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Doud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
