The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mitchell Floyd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mitchell Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darrel Countess, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Darrel Countess who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PETROLEUM's Mitchell Floyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Emery made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Stevie Daniels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abraham Craven. Lone Grove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevie Daniels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Stevie Daniels managed to get in a good position for a shot. PETROLEUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevie Daniels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Craven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Adolfo Emery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lone Grove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Emery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
