With a left leg Mitchell Floyd saved PETROLEUM from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Saber Cats CF's goalkeeper Joesph Munoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stevie Daniels. Saber Cats CF were furious when Timothy Lackey was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Romano to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PETROLEUM's Dennis Wooten got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saber Cats CF's zone, Ferdinand Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joesph Munoz came out of the goal and Ferdinand Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Joesph Munoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saber Cats CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
