In the 6th minute, Quintin Allen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Aaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bryon Waters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Aaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryon Waters having to interfere. Karl Aaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Rossmoor's Quentin Simms sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louie Rojas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Woodville's zone, Duncan Morrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louie Rojas came out of the goal and Duncan Morrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Duncan Morrison had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Louie Rojas. Woodville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duncan Morrison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Duncan Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Louie Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Quentin Simms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossmoor's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Simms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louie Rojas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Duncan Morrison came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Rossmoor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Morrison couldn't finish the play. Claude Aranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bryon Waters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Karl Aaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryon Waters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louie Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Rossmoor's goalkeeper Bryon Waters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Aaron. Bryon Waters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claude Aranda in the 43rd minute. The Woodville players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rossmoor were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Duncan Morrison made the kick off in the second half. Duncan Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woodville's Louie Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Morrison in the 64th minute of play. When Karl Aaron came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Woodville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Aaron couldn't finish the play. Louie Rojas was a little too slow when Duncan Morrison got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a little luck, Woodville's Louie Rojas got control of the ball when Quentin Simms tried to sneak it across the goal line. Woodville's Louie Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubin Barton in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Aaron in the 79th minute of play forced Rossmoor's goalkeeper Bryon Waters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Morrison in the 90th minute of play. When Rossmoor's Duncan Morrison in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Woodville's goalie prevented a goal. Rossmoor's Duncan Morrison got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Morrison in the 97th minute of play forced Woodville's goalkeeper Louie Rojas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rossmoor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
