Pat Cassidy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Bartley, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Trey Dunham hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Schultz came free, but Pat Cassidy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pat Cassidy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porter Mims, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Pat Cassidy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Schultz in the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot by Colin Sadler from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Nathanial Tripp's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Jacques Hoover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pat Cassidy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Oliver in the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Trey Dunham. Aldo Valenzuela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Jacques Hoover got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nathanial Tripp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques Hoover in the 55th minute of the match. Pat Cassidy made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Merlin Oliver sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trey Dunham during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trey Dunham kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A long shot from Aldo Valenzuela in the 66th minute of play was well struck, but Pat Cassidy made a really good save at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porter Mims got free with Pat Cassidy in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Sappington FC's Ross Schultz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pat Cassidy. That made the score 1-2 after 74 minutes of play. 80 minutes into the match, Jacques Hoover notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sappington FC's Nathanial Tripp. Nathanial Tripp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pat Cassidy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Schultz in the 84th minute of play. If D.J. Whitney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Sappington FC's Connor Nickerson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Bartley came free, but Pat Cassidy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sappington FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Arsenal to leave the ground with a draw.
