In the 27th match minute, Lakemore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Waddell to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lakemore FC's zone, Alex Lockhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Dent came out of the goal and Alex Lockhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Fuller got free with Ronnie Dent in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aidan Manning stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Denson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darnell Benitez having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chippewa Falls AFC's goalkeeper Darnell Benitez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Aidan Manning recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darnell Benitez.
