Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ned Felix in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascal Crusher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes Greenwood Village FC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Long. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ned Felix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Michigan Wolverines's supporters rose to their feet, but Ned Felix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascal Crusher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Charles Dyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match Michigan Wolverines got a corner. Greenwood Village FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilfred Law ran over to the corner to take the kick. Garret Landreth charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 27th minute, Roland Long hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Michigan Wolverines's Ned Felix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascal Crusher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benny Regan to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Greenwood Village FC's Stewart Fish got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Joshua Houston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benny Regan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Campbell having to interfere. Ned Felix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Benny Regan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miles Campbell. Michigan Wolverines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Regan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Miles Campbell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Houston, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ned Felix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Pascal Crusher made a huge save. After 91 played minutes Bo Lutz rounded Greenwood Village FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Ned Felix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Pascal Crusher when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Michigan Wolverines supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Michigan Wolverines would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
